Nigerian politician and the current executive Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello has proffered captured bandits should be looked after by the government simply because they are tired.

This came after a correspondent with Channels TV asked the governor what lasting solutions his government can proffer to curb the rate of insecurity and banditry in his state.

The governor while noting their immediate priority which is to released kidnapped victims emphasized the tiredness of the bandits revealing they need to be looked after.

In his own words; He said;

“Their immediate priority is to get the kidnapped victims released after we must get a long-lasting solution to the farmers| herdsmen conflicts’. I also understand that some of these bandits are tired, they need to be looked after and train them, engage them.”
