Valerie was born on July 19, 1998, into a martial arts household. She was born and reared in Miami, Florida.
Frank Loureda, her father, was the owner of Frank Taekwondo Academy, a martial arts school. It was established in 1998.
Mily Loureda, her mother, is also a Taekwondo expert. During Valerie’s pregnancy, she was said to be testing for her black belt.
Career
She has loved martial arts and taekwondo since she was a child. She would frequently join her father to his self-defense program on morning television.
She has developed into a professional fighter throughout the years and has competed in several battles. She’s beaten the likes of Larykn Dasch, Tara Graff, Colby Fletcher, and many others.
She signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA in August 2020.
