Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye, Pays Tribute To Prophet TB Joshua

The Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife has paid a tribute to the late Prophet TB Joshua.

In the tribute which was posted on Sunday on the verified Facebook of TB Joshua Ministries, the Oba epitomised the philanthropic virtues of the great man of God.

He described his death as a huge loss to Nigeria, especially the Yoruba race. He stressed that prophet TB Joshua was a complete follower of Jesus Christ. He said TB Joshua as an epitome of kindness led an exemplary life.

He eulogized prophet TB Joshua as globally celebrated philanthropist who was an advocate of a justice-filled society and prominent sports lover.

He urged Christians to go beyond mourning the man of God to emulating his well spent life. He counselled TB Joshua followers to continue with his message of love and giving. Read the tribute below:

“Prophet TB Joshua’s demise is a huge loss to Nigeria, especially the Yoruba race. He was a complete follower of Christ and an epitome of kindness who led by example. Aside from being a clergyman, Prophet TB Joshua went several steps ahead to become a globally celebrated philanthropist, advocate of a justice-filled society and prominent sports lover. While it is a fact that his departure is currently being missed by all, I urge Christendom to go beyond just mourning and pick lessons from the well spent lifetime of this great man of God. The preaching and teaching of the Word of God must not stop while the act of giving through philanthropy must also be sustained as initiated and maintained by Prophet TB Joshua.”

The Ooni’s tribute is coming barely one month after the demise of the Prophet and few days to the burial which the church has announced to commence from the 5th of July 2021.
