COVID-19: Nigeria Records 1664 Fresh Cases On January 6

The NCDC gathered and announced that Nigeria recorded 1664 new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday, January 6 2021.

From the data, Lagos State recorded the highest of the day with 642 followed by the FCT. See the breakdown of the cases among the states below; FCT-407 Plateau-160 Kaduna-83 Rivers-62 Adamawa-47 Nasarawa-38 Abia-29 Edo-28 Anambra-27 Niger-24 Ogun-24 Imo-15 Oyo-14 Kano-12 Osun-12 Borno-9 Delta-7 Enugu-7 Bauchi-5 Ekiti-5 Sokoto-5 Jigawa-2  

  This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 94,369. The total number of discharged patients is now at 77,299 whiles 1324 patients have died.
